CRM Suprimentos prohibits any form of corruption or bribery, in line with the Brazilian Anti-Corruption Law (Law 12.846/2013), the FCPA and the UK Bribery Act.
What is prohibited
- Promising, offering, giving, requesting or receiving any undue advantage — directly or through third parties — to obtain or retain business.
- Facilitation ('grease') payments.
- Off-the-books funds or falsified records.
- Bid-rigging or fraud in public or private contracts.
Public officials
Relations with public agents (including employees of state-owned companies such as Petrobras) follow stricter rules. When in doubt, do not offer anything.
Third parties
Suppliers, agents and customs brokers undergo integrity due diligence and must accept an anti-corruption contractual clause, with audit rights.
