← Governance & Compliance
Principle
Personal interests must never interfere with company decisions. Real, potential or apparent conflicts must be declared and managed transparently.
Typical situations
- Hiring a supplier owned by a relative or friend without a competitive process.
- Deciding a purchase/sale in which the employee has a financial interest.
- Acting simultaneously for a competitor, customer or supplier.
Duties
- Declare the conflict in writing to your manager/Compliance.
- Abstain from the related decision.
- Transactions with related parties require prior approval at market conditions.
